Sample Material

Introduction – Two friends are interested in setting up a fast casual restaurant chain in London. The dining concept is “fast healthy Indian” food. They plan to start with one test restaurant and gradually expand the chain. The venture will be funded from their own savings, cash flow generated by the business and bank loans.

Question – What is the market size for fast casual dining in London? Other facts: London population 7.5M, 1/3rd of people age 20-60 buy lunch out, people buy lunch 3x per week on average, average price of a meal 5 pounds.

Basic Answer – # of meals = 3.75M (population assuming equal age distribution 0 – 80 years) x 1/3 (buying out) x 3 (meals per week purchased) x 50 (wks of the year) = 187.5M (approx. 200M)

Latest reviews of Consulting Interview Case Study Practice - KillerCases for Management, Strategy & Business app for iPhone and iPad

Very good
I am myself a management consultant and interviewer. This definitely is a good way to practice. The app is a bit slow in scrolling and therefore sometimes a pain, that should be taken care of.
Dont waste your time or $
Almost insulting. The definitions raise more questions than they provide answers, the cases are a couple of sentences and the answers come from nowhere. What they really want is to connect you with a coach, at your expense of course. I really wish Apple would be more straightforward about how to get your money back.
Packed with great tips and info
This app is simple in style yet superb in substance. 10 unique case studies helped me prep for interviews with BCG, Monitor, and McKinsey. I also really enjoyed the concept review section which is filled with all those important but hard to remember math and stats concepts useful for market sizing estimates and other "trick" questions used by interviewers. Overall, this app has a ton of great review info and practice cases I could use for 20 minutes each morning whole on the subway to work. I paid $30 for a case study guide on the Internet so thought this was well worth $0.99
Very professional
Great material. Very interesting case studies!
Varied and challenging
The case studies in this app cover a variety of topics in a challenging way. I feel like its very complete and thorough preparation for any mgmt consulting interview. The app also runs well - a good user interface, loads quickly, doesnt crash. Really nice app!
